I noticed today that the dess implementation is ignoring the buy schedule I’ve defined for the weekend and just uses weekdays schedule.
As shown below I have peak and of peak pricing during the week what is picked up without to much hassle (just a little big with time zones still - 6h configured become 7h in the graph)
Is it regarding site 712429? Would you mind turning DESS on for me for this weekend till Monday, so the VRM engineers can resolve this issue for you next week?
No problem at all. The site causing this issue is indeed 712429. I have re-enabled DESS and will keep it on at least until next Monday, or until I hear back from you.
When reviewing the energy price forecast, I noticed that tomorrow (Saturday) follows a high/low tariff pattern similar to weekdays, meaning the issue is still present.
Additionally, if the VRM engineers are investigating this, could they also look into the discrepancy between the configured time and the time displayed in the planning? There appears to be a 1-hour difference (e.g., 6 AM becomes 7 AM, and 9 PM becomes 10 PM).
We already deployed a fix just now for the fixed prices ignoring weekend planning, it seems like today and tomorrow that is going well so let’s see how it goes the rest of the weekend.
I just asked the team to look at the offset of one hour.
Your timezone was set to UTC. We just re-saved your location and that resolved the 1 hour offset. Seems like you are all set to enjoy the benefits of Dynamic ESS this weekend!
A-class support. Thank you very much. The graph is now indeed inline with the DESS settings. I’ll update the timeslots to be in line with my contract. (now had set an 1h offset)
Just for my good measure. Was this the location within the VRM > Settings > Location?
As I believe I’ve already set this 2 times.
True, it was a VRM bug that was live for about 2 weeks, where changing your location in settings didn’t store your timezone correctly. This was fixed some weeks ago, but your last change was probably in the period where it was bugging.
