I have an Multiplus II GX and a battery with a JK BMS that controls the requested voltage via DVCC
And i also have a DC-coupled MPPT 250/60 that follow this regime via an VE connection
Futher i have enabled “DC-coupled PV - feed in excess”
But what i see after the battery is full and the float voltage is requested, is a very restless charge/discharge pattern.
Where it is pingponging between plus and minus 20 to 30 Ampere every second.
I understand that it is difficult to harvest the excess solar energy while maintaining the float-voltage, but this is crazy.
Have a read of the various JK related topics. This is predominantly down to how you have configured your BMS. The system just does what the BMS tells it to do.
Thats beyond the scope of this forum. Plenty of relevant info in JK related topics in this section. Start there.
A BMS does way more than just send a CVL.
