Cerbo GX LAN not working, lights always on/blinking even when no cable is connected

I’ve got a weird one here, new set up, cerbo gx LAN interface does not pick up any IP from DHCP, already tested the same cable and switch port on a laptop and desktop, both get DHCP lease. I tried static IP address, no difference. Unplugging the network cable and the link LED keeps steady on and activity LED on the network port flashing.

This sounds like a dodgy port to me. Any thoughts?

Is it new, has it ever worked? Can you Bluetooth with Connect?

New, installed today. I just noticed the LAN port problem after my initial Bluetooth and WiFi set up. Everything else seems to be working fine.
