Bluetooth connectivity problem

Hi All,

I’ve just finished wiring up my leisure battery system with a victron smart 12v 30amp non isolated charger.

When I go to the app to setup as stated in the instructions, I go to connect via Bluetooth and it keeps saying incorrect pin even though I have used the supplied pin on the sticker and tried 000000.

I then tried to reset the pin using the PUK code, which then also said “wrong PUK code” I have tried both steps 10’s of times with the same outcome each time.

Phone has been re-settled, app reinstalled multiple times, still no luck. Has anyone had a similar problem?

@joshanisbet
Was the sticker (with pin and puk) stuck ln the product or loose in the box?

It was loose in the box, the stickers were in the hard paper leaflet type thing

Noted. Wondering if there was a boxing mishap somewhere in the supply chain to you.

I fear you may be correct.. I’ve contacted where I purchased it from, but being a weekend I’m sure I’ll have a couple days wait for a reply now

The charger itself should also have a sticker with the PIN and PUK on the back, did you checked that?

Just double checked, it’s the same as the loose stickers and still doesn’t work..

Are the serial numbers on the device, on the sticker, on the box and the one shown in VictronConnect the same?

All serial numbers match on stickers and in the app, all the pin and PUK numbers match. But just refuses to connect. I put in the pin, it loads to 80% then goes back to the pin input screen. Pin reset using the PUK code says “wrong PUK code”

Hmm… strange.
You should contact the seller from whom you bought the device.

Hi @joshanisbet

Can you perhaps create a service report directly after trying the PUK code and attach that here in a reply?

The procedure to create a service report is described here: 13. Troubleshooting
