I have a 3kVA Quattro, 5 AGM batteries (575Ahr). no solar touch 70 and cerbo, Smart shunt
New install, existing AGM battereis 1 year old
Quattro set for generator input 1 and shorepower input 2
Invertor and dc works
quattro goes to absorbtion quickly, then float for a minute or so and now storage.
The problem is that the batteries do not appear to be charging.
I have gone into VEConfig and it is the correct battery type, checked on the smart shunt and its correct battery capacity.
disconnected temperature sensor and still not charging.
Any ideas to try please?
Some info on what the battery voltage is when charging and current flow. Also what voltage do the batteries rest at after say 24hrs without a load or charge.
One option is you have a poor connection somewhere in your system that has voltage drop, but this would then stop the inverter running. Have you tried inverting without shorepower or generator running. Use a multimeter to check for voltage drop, check every connection, crimp, fuse, breaker or isolator.
The other option is the batteries are dead.
