I have my Multiplus set up to turn on the diesel generator via the relay when soc goes down to 20% or when more than 2.8Kw is being used and to turn off the genny when soc reaches 85%.
Because I have solar directly charging the batteries via an mppt controller, I keep having to manually reset the soc because the Multiplus is unaware of this additional charge.
So I got a BMV-712 and I’m setting it up. Looking at the manual it seems that I use Victron Connect to set the parameters as I did with the Multiplus except with the BMV I connect vial Bluetooth instead of via the dongle.
But how do I connect up the relay? Do I simply disconnect the wires from the Multiplus relay and connect them to the BMV relay?
