I have a 5KW Easysolar , 48v, 300Ah Lead Carbon Batteries, and a BMV712. Its been working great for 5 years now. I have a 15KVA Lister HR2 generator for backup. I use the Colour Control GX for generator start/stop, set to start at 75% SOC, and stops at 80%. The generator runs for only 35 mins to achieve this. This also works very well. I tried to use the BMV relay for diversion purposes. I wanted to divert a separate 250/60 controller with changeover happening at 95%, batteries nearly full, so set the BMV up to to this. BUT, then the generator would not turn off. Turns out that setting the SOC to 95% also changed the discharge floor, and overruled the settings I’d done on the CCGX . Is it possible to have 2 separate SOC settings that don’t interact?
