i am new to a victron system. my system works on 3 phases together with dess. a 16 kwh battery is connected to it. now i have the problem that the battery pack indicates a different percentage than the cerbo gx. and my multiplus on phase 1 gives low battery error code when it gets below 85%. how can i solve this. below you see the link of the battery pack.
A bit more info about the system. Does it have solar charging the battery directly on DC (MPPT controller) and if so is the MPPT connected to the cerbo. Does the BMS communicate with the battery. Is the SOC in the Cerbo from the Multiplus, if not where is it from. The 85% SOC, was this on the BMS or Cerbo or Multiplus and what were the other devices showing at the time.
In the short term try and get the battery fully charged then all SOC indicators will be reset accurately to 100%. SOC can drift over time and become inaccurate and the longer it goes after a full charge the larger the error. The battery monitors use a charge to 100% to reset the SOC to 100% to give an accurate value at that point.
the system is as follows from the main connection go 3 phases to the ac in of 3 multiplus 2 5000va. all load are connected to ac out 1. the multiplus are interconnected by ve bus and connected to the cerbo gx. a 5 inch screen hangs on the cerbo. a distributor is connected to the dc of the multiplus, the battery box is also connected to this, this battery box is connected via can bus to the cerbo
No solar then. I can not comment on the SOC difference as you have not given enough information. I can not tell if the SOC difference is causing the low battery error.
Is the low battery error code low battery voltage. If this occurs on only 1 phase then this may be a high resistance wiring connection on that one phase. Another factor is you have a small battery for a 3 phase 5kVA system, the manual recommends 200Ah for a single 5kVA Multiplus, this may contribute to low voltages.
