I created a team last year to give a user access to one person to one specific installation among the others.
Since that person did not need the access anymore, I deleted this team, but now that I did that, I can’t access the very same installation to which i’m the admin. A colleague of mine also is admin but can give me back the rights because VRM considers that I still am a legit admin.
The funny part is that I can see the installation as part of a group and an other team that I also created before, but I cannot access it. Please heeeeelp me 0:)
And by the way, I’m still experiencing some trouble with tags, I have so many that should have disappeared when deleting or changing the name of a group… I hope victron’s staff will find the time for theses issues now that the new os is out.
Indeed I only removed the team (of which I was the admin of course), but I was the admin of this installation before I linked it to this team.
Depending of the point of view, I’m still admin : from my colleague, I already have the rights, from my side I do not.
Thanks, I’ll see with official support then.
It may settle down but I rather get the control back as soon as possible.
I think I use the normal vrm, but I’m not sure because I don’t even know how to activate beta on vrm, I can’t find any menu to activate or deactivate beta.
This thread caught my attention as recently we got a report from the same issue. I have just passed on your situation to the VRM dev team to look into.
What would help us understand the cause of the bug, is if you could tell us if you see the site when navigating to it through this link: VRM Portal - Victron Energy
I am wondering if the problem is only that you do not see the site in your navigation menu, as indeed you mention that the system understands that you are already linked to the site in question.
I am positive we can come back to you with an explanation by Tuesday. If however you are in a hurry for access (which I understand), this is a workaround that should work:
Unlink the site from the installation groups you see on its users page
Ask your colleague to invite you to the site as an individual user
That should prevent the error that you are already linked to the site.
Will keep you posted on the root cause through this thread.
hello @Barbara just got caught with this same issue on my own end, and cant view my installations, any assistance would be greatly appreciated , as i am now blind to monitoring varying sites for client’s including my own home. Thank you
Just so you know, the same problem occured again with another installation. I was trying to delete the group in which the first problematic installation was still visible, but now I can’t access the second installation that was linked to it.
Seems to me that the problem hasn’t been fixed with last update.

@wgomes - are you still experiencing issues or is this now resolved?
Hi,
I’m still experiencing theses issues, I’ve retrieved access for one installation, but the first on I mentioned still is unaccessible though.
I opened an other ticket yesterday to which I had a quick response, but i’m still waiting for them to check the problematic installation
