Hello everyone,
I have a 3-phase RS Multi system which is offgrid.
So far it works great.
However, not a single RS Multi is displayed in the system overview in CerboGX.
However, the 3 RS Multis are recognised and displayed under ‘Services’.
Why not in the system overview?
This problem also only seems to exist in the 3-phase system, as I have another system that is only 1-phase, where everything is displayed as expected.
The current software is v3.50 /20.
With v3.33 the RS Multis were still displayed. They were single, but you could see them.
With v3.40 they have disappeared completely.
Does anyone have the same problem or can they help me?
@ginger1986
What firmware is on the Multi RS system? Is the can terminator in? Are they configured as three phases?
I have v1.1.6 and v3.42 working the three phase correctly.
V3.5 is still in Beta. So not a good troubleshooting step to use. Unless you want to post in beta. Since that is the more correct place to put this post.
But if it was not working on a normal stable release then likely the GX firmware is not the issue.
Hello,
the RS Multis all have v1.16 on them.
The last one (L3 RS Multi) has the CAN terminating resistor in it.
All 3 RS Multis are the same and configured as a 3-phase system.
I have also updated the CerboGX to V3.42, but it still does not show ‘RS System’ in the ‘Device list’.
They are displayed under VE.CAN Devices, but why not in the ‘Device list’?
This means that I cannot manage the RS system at all.
It works, but it is not displayed in the ‘Device list’.
Is it the same for you?

Hello Marc,
Yes, there is a CAN termination at the beginning and at the end.
With the v3.50~20 negative as with the v3.42 negative.
The RS Multi system was first installed with v3.40.
And it was not visible then either.
As can be seen in the last picture, the RS Multis are also recognised by the CerboGX. (VE.CAN Devices)
But not displayed in the ‘Device list’.
After the updates of the RS Multis, where the ESS function was introduced, I had never set anything there.
The settings under ESS therefore remained empty.
After I selected a value there, the RS system appeared on the device list.
