3-phase Multi RS Solar stuck in passthrough

I have a Victron system with;

  • 3x Multi RS Solar configured as three phase

  • VM-3P75CT energy meter connection via VE.Can

  • Cerbo GX Mk2

  • 5x Pylontech US5000

Firmwares:

The VM-3P75CT, Multi RS’s and Cerbo GX Mk2 are daisy chained on VE.Can with terminators on both ends. In the Cerbo all devices show up on VE.Can Port 1.

The Pylontech is connected to the Cerbo GX VE.Can Port 2

The Multi RS’s are all configured the same like this. But they all have their own phase assigned.

The Multi RS’s connect to the grid succesfully and the ACIN1 relay closes. My loads connected to AC-OUT-1 are powered. I have a SolarEdge SE16k connected to AC-OUT-1 too.

But for some reason the Inverters stay in Passthrough state. I can only see that on the physical displays.

As far as i can tell i have followed the documentation correctly. Can somebody help me troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks!

In case it helps somebody else. When i set Minimum number of inverters to start to less than 3 the system started working.

I wonder which is the logic in this… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
If one has a 3 phase system and want it to work only and only when all 3 inverters are online simultaneously, how do you set it?

LE:
Now I see that the texting is a little bit confusing…
Minimum inverters to start is referring to number of inverters that must be active per phase.
But… Hmm… Multi RS cannot be parallelized…

I also walked into this trap, I got stuck for days. Thanks to this post I am finally in business
