3-phase Multi RS is not charging my battery

I have exactly the problem @Jelle had that is described in the topic: Cannot get my 3-phase multirs to charge / discharge my battery - #12. I have made all the settings described in the post, but still no luck. By batteries are draining and not charging. My system:

  • 3x Multi RS Solar in 3-phase configuration
  • VM3P75CT grid energy meter connected with ethernet
  • Lynx Smart Shunt
  • JK BMS (2x 15kWh batteries)

All components are running on the latest firmware. I tried a lot and do not know how to proceed at this moment.

Hi, can you try setting "Number of inverters in the system to 1”, I think victron counts a three phase system (3 individual inverters) as a single inverter somehow.

I tried it and no change in behavior unfortunately. The manual tells that this setting is used to determine how to proceed when the CAN cable is broken and the CAN bus is splitted. After you have setted the 3 to 1 on inverters to start, did you do some restart?

Sorry, I have no idea, but if it thinks there should be more “systems/inverters” it might prevent it from starting.
I fumbled a lot before I got it working.

Thanks for your thoughts. The system also does not (yet) react on solar input:

From where, in the world, it takes 3kW to feed into grid, with 0(zero)W from solar and 0(zero)W from battery?
You didn’t invented some SciFi power source and leaked by mistake the info here?..

Isn’t VM3P75CT supposed to be connected over CAN?..
Or you are referring to the cable type?

Did you configure the JK BMS correctly on both boxes?

The Multi RS Solar is not connected to my mains, it is at my garage with only the load of the garage on it. The solar of my roof is also not measured here. So at this moment there is solar and no load seen by the multiplus, while it is not measured.

Yes using the application of the vendor. Double checked everything.

Victron support has done it, but I do not yet why. Thanks!

In my battery settings I used the 2-wire BMS, most likely a standard setting that I over looked when I selected user-defined. Very much thanks to Victron to spot this one. Everything is working fine. Thanks all.
