Consumption not coherent between Dashboard and Advanced

Dear Community

In one recent installation, the consumption have not been shown correctly on the VRM Dashboard overview graphic.

The Consumption seems to "adhere" to the production.

When we open the Advanced , we can check the consumption (yesterday was Sunday, so the consumption was lower than usual days) to be quite low.

The batteries only charged because the consumption was low. Case default, if the consumption was high (or close to the production, as suggested by the dashboard) the charge of the batteries would not have taken place.

Internal problem on the VRM?

Best regards.

@Nuno M. G. Santos

Use the down arrow and check the consumption tab option and the solar option. That will add up nicely.

I think the rounding on the system overview may be part of the issue you are seeing, it is meant to be just a general overview. It also does not cover what the battery has contributed or consumed just the general loads. So dig a little deeper in the data there to get a better idea of what is going on in the system.

Don't forget also there will be system losses and also that the Victron is not a calibrated measuring instrument, so to get more accurate data you could have good energy meters on all the ins and outs of the system. But to be honest we have found the general information is good enough to make sure the system is meeting requirements and see where we need to educate users more.

Don't know why.

Yesterday consumption seemed to adhere to production as soon as production took off.

Today, it all seems fine.

I will wait for tomorrow to check the behaviour with a really sunny day.

Besides...

This is a steel and aluminium processing factory (efficient window makers).

The start of some machines forces the (non-wanted) restart of some computers in pure off grid mode (Fronius + Victron, in microgrid 50Hz).

The problem was apparently solved when we connected the system to to grid. It stopped breaking and restarting computers, with very small consumption from the grid. Still, I would love to run it in pure off-grid mode, as the available Grid Power is 20kW, and we have 3x 15kW Victron System...

Any ideas?

Best regards.
