I have a 12v 100ah LifePo4 battery in my camper which stands on the drive for a week at a time whilst I'm not using it. The battery is continually showing a 'cell overcharge protection' at 100% SOC warning which shows the BMS is doing it's job. This is caused by my 100w solar panel charging via my MPPT 75/15 controller.
There is an option to switch off charging on the battery settings of the controller but i get a warning this should only be done in maintenance mode.
My question - If I switch this off will it cause any long term issues.
