Installation with 3 Multiplus 2 + BYD batteries - Venus GX - ESS mode 3
Our controller is communicating with Venus GX by Modbus TCP.
When sending a modbus command on slave id 242 , register 37, we control A phase of the system correctly.
Therefore, when sending a modbus command on slave id 242 , registers 40 and 41, we get the error " GatewayPathUnavailable"
How should we control B and C phases ?
I hope you found help somewhere else (since it‘s nearly two years later). But some advise for other users:
Keep in mind, that you have to configure your inverter / VE-Bus setup first to a 3-phase system and you have to configure a ESS-assistant on each inverter afterwards.
Your description sounds like you only configured the 3-phase arrangement (on all 3 devices) but missed to configure the ESS on the L2 and L3 devices.
