I am currently using ESS in Mode 3 - external control. The display on the Venus seems "stuck" on ESS Recharge - is there a way to remove this to reflect what is going on ? At the moment the inverter is in pass-thru mode with ESS still saying "Recharge"

More information is needed. Ie products connected. what firmware is installed. is the latest ESS installed etc etc
If "with battery life" is enabled when SoC is lower than the "active SoC limit" the system will display "recharge" and use grid power to bring the battery back to the upper limit, at a 5A rate.
