How do I limit battery charge current. With DVCC - MPPT will not be reduced.

Background - in good days with enough PV yield the battery is full at midday. Then the MPPT is throttled. We want to load the battery slower over the whole day and use the sureplus power for heating water or grid feed in.
How can achieve this- normaly i think with DVCC - but the GX manual 11.4.6 says that this wouldn't be appylied to MPPTs.
I tried it with nodered

Do you have the option "DC-coupled PV - feed in excess" activated? If yes, then the DVCC will not work for the MPPT.
