ESS, single Multi in 3 phase system and no grid feedback

Hello! In a setup where grid feedback is not allowed, is it possible to have a single Multiplus or Multiplus II or similar installed on a single phase of a 3 phase network (230V), while having all or most of ESS features ? Will ESS phase compensation be possible without being able to feedback to the grid? If not, is this an issue? Many thanks!

Hi,

Yes, you can set ESS to not feed back. By running Optimized with Battery Life, you can set the Grid Setpoint. The higher that value is, the less it will feed back, bar when a large load is switched off. Then some current will be fed back but that should not be a problem.

Hope this helps.

Jaco

Thanks for your reply. How about the phase compensation feature, does it require grid feedback ? It seems it will need so to balance all 3 phases but I am not certain.

Thanks!
