IP22 Positive Lead battery Fuse Size

I have 2 x 110ah Agm batteries in parrallel, what size fuse do I need to protect the positive charging cable back to the charger? How do I work it out? I can't get my head round the battery amps or wire amps.

Thanks in advance

Since it is 30A, the fuse will be about 1.25x30A = 37A. So a 40A fuse or around there.

Your cable needs to be able to handle the 30A current. You can use a small as 6mm² but it will get hot so use at least 10mm². Make sure you use fine strand wire.

The max the charger can fit is 16mm². So feel free to go that big as well.

Thanks for that. Yes I Will be using the 40A fuse with16mm² Wire, as I had a couple of bits just long enough.
