MPPT does not start up anymore

Hi,

I've got an MPPT 250/100 HQ2052 here, it does not start up at all anymore, seems like a fuse is broken or something. From what I've heard from the technician, there could have been a short circuit on the PV modules, i.e. PV voltage going down rapidly - but I don't see how this could affect the MPPT.

If I connect PV voltage (e.g. 140V) to PV in, voltage goes to 0V, no reaction of the MPPT, no LEDs, nothing.

If I connect battery voltage: tried 12V and 48V so far, nothing.

I already checked the Victron info of latching reset, but this is only valid for newer HW models, HQ2150 and above or so.

Does anyone know what could be wrong with this MPPT? Any ideas thatI could try?

Thanks a lot,

BR, Mario

Have you checked that the panel connection voltage at the MPPT with a meter?

What do you mean? Solar panel voltage at the MPPT?

Yes, PV voltage is around 140V if I don't connect anything, once the MPPT is connected voltage completely breaks down, measured with multimeter.

I tried another MPPT, works fine: starts up, PV voltage stays around 140V (no load).
