I have a question regarding a small ESS test project which I want to start. The idea is to setup solar panels (3 * 175 watt) feed it into a MPPT 100/30 which connects to a battery and connect the battery to a multiplus. The multiplus should then connect to the grid to feed back power to the grid when the battery is full. The goal is to run a computer setup (some hours of the day) of about 200/300 watts mainly on sun power, however when the soc of the battery goes down to let,s say 50%, the multiplus switches over to grid power.
I have build a similar system, but then with no ess ( for my boat). ( Full Victron) however i,m not sure whether the above setup allows me to succesfully test the above situation. ( I,m aware that the 12/500 multiplus does nog have Power assist, so the one I think I need will be a Multiplus 800 or 1200.
Ps, there are no plans for a generator, so a second ac in is not needed.
