ESS newbie .. sitting at 100% can't be good constantly charge discharge

Hi all .. MP II with Pylontec US5000s

Scheduled charge stops as requested at 90%.


However MPPTs charge to 100% ..then constantly charge / discharge as per video ..


Can't be good for batteries.. how can I best avoid ?

Thanks ..but lithium longevity not helped by long periods at 100% being charged & discharged constantly:-(

If you’re buying cheap EVE cells off the internet with a bms of your choosing programmed to the unrealistic specs of the manufacturer, yes.

Life and performance is already considered and built into commercial packs, especially ones with long warranties and a proven history.

To add. ESS always buffers from battery, it is designed to do that and lithium is well suited to the job.
