Multiplus II randomly stuck in passthru

Hi,

So most of the times this has happened to me it's been loss of communication between the inverter and the grid meter but today the drid meter seemed to be talking to the inverter fine.

My biggest issue is unless I check the VRM I don't know it's gone in to passthru. Is there anyway to get a notifier email or text when the inverter enters passthru?

P.S. a soft reboot fixes it.

Regards,

Rob

@nervousfrog

You can set up a VRM alarm.

New alarm rule

1 Device - inverter

2 parameter - ve bus state

3 activate the passthrough option

4 notification time usually 60 seconds

And save.

I can't test it as I can't trigger the passthrough but it works for other states.

Thanks for the info I got it working.

I tested it and can confirm.

My grid meter is on a USB extender so I just unplugged the grid meter which puts the inverter in to pass through.

It took about 5 minutes for the email to come through but that's much better than not knowing at all.

I also managed to set up alarms for when the battery hits 100% or 20% which will be very helpful.

Thanks again for the info.
