@Duto69

Did you copy the old config and load it or set up from scratch again?

Also did you update the ess assistant as well?

Hello. I don't know if I have the same problem or not.
But stability related issues after upgrading my pair(2Phase) of Multi-II 48/5000 from 2623487 to 2623489

ABSOLUTELY!

I using a RS-485 connected Energy Meter EM24, for my system. After updating to 2623489 + ESS 017E the system behavior is erratic!

When one multi feedback, almost full power. The other one starts to charge the battery from grid power! after a few seconds its the other way around inbetween the multis!
And this happens regardles of wich loads I have on the grid or if its completely dark outside.

I suspected it was the updated ESS Assisstant. I had a copy of the "older" 017C Assistant that worked before the FW-update. So I downgraded it.
No difference.
I think it is the xxxx489 FW.
But unfortnally doesent have a copy of the 2623487.vff. So I cant downgrade and test... :-(

Also seen issues with 489 and ESS, unfortunately the firmware archive does not have anything newer than 4.59.

If you downgrade to 4.59 it does seem to resolve the issues.

Hopefully victron add 4.87 to the firmware dropbox.

Hi Paul!

Yes, I've tested this...Unfortunately No difference!
I hope that I also get my hands on the previous version(487) as "duto69" below..

Lesson learned here(for me), is that I from now keep previous versions in an local archive.

I don't get why the firmware repository isn't up to date.

4.59 is available, downgrade to that so long.

In the rare event you have a 2628 device this is the firmware for that:2628487.vff.zip

Fantastic!

Hopefully the Victron-team dig in to this issue and find the reason for this behavior!
