Victron 100/20 charges but batterymonitor says it’s discharging

On my boat - when charging through shore power my battery meter shows the charge - when charging via solar and my victron smart charger 100/20 even though I have an input from let’s say 50w / 4amps the monitor says I am discharging and the battery amps drop instead of rise… What could that be?

Is the negative of the MPPT connected to the load/charger side of the shunt or directly to the battery?
