Expected vs Actual Behaviour using ESS - PV not used much when batteries are at 100%

ESS Optimised with battery life set to 100% and SOC 100%

Single phase system with Multiplus II 5000/48, Venus GX, MPPT 150/100

It is expected that when the load is higher than the PV, it uses what it can from PV and the balance from the grid, keeping the battery at 100% - however when the load is higher than the PV it actually uses the battery (down to 99.5%) and switches to use 100% grid to power the loads while only using the PV to recharge the battery from 99.5 to 100% and stays ‘latched’ to the grid until the load drops below the PV output.

It operates as expected when load is less than PV.

What settings must I tweak to control this so that it behaves as expected?

So, finally figure out the 'interlock'.

"Keep Batteries Charged" does work but only with the DVCC enabled.

Have you tried changing ESS mode to "Keep Batteries Charged"?

Yes, that did not work. Any other thoughts?
