Is it ESS response time dependent of LOM detection type?

... thoroughly reading documentation I have stumble over the fact that ESS Assistant has a rate limiter at 400W per second . This may explain why the negative feedback loop of the system is so slow.

Also, my perception is that LOM Type has something to do with that because is directly related with input impedance . Is that true?

Is it possible to have the rate limiter as a user configurable option in ESS assistant setup wizard?

Thanks you,

Hi Mihai; yes the rate limiter might depend a bit per LOM settingn; but thats then a consequence of some check and regulation. Not on purpose.

The rate limiter is there for several reasons; and no we wont be adding any setting for that in the near future. For example: We cant predict system stability in all settings of a rate limiter; so that would make for extra testing; etc etc.
