1ph Multiplus ESS system on 3ph grid connection with 3ph SMA Tripower grid-inverter

Good day,

I will install a grid-tied ESS system with a Multiplus-II GX 5kVA device for increased self-consumption, controlled via a ET340 grid meter.

On the grid-side, I would like to use a SMA Tripower 8.0.
In previous installations I used single phase inverters and that works fine, but to have a correct visualisation on the VRM you need to select the right phase in the PV-inverter menu.

Will this choise become unnecessary when using a 3ph inverter or will the L1-L2-L3 choise pop up in the menu?

I want to be sure it is compatible because I checked the manual on this topic but it does not say anything about 3ph inverters.

Thanks for the confirmation.

You will find the answers here: ESS Webinar Victron

Inverter on the AC-IN (the grid side):

MPII on L1 and 'Phase Compensation' ON.

Inverter on the AC_out side with L1:

Is this possible when L2, L3 and N is completely off grid?
