Meter for ESS

Hi all,

When installing a grid meter on an ESS system is it necessary to install at the supply origin or is it intended to just meter PV generation?

The problem I have is the supply intake is in a different building.

Hi

Needs to be a point to supply to make the ESS system work correctly.

You can use RS485 wireless link to connect to it.

Hi

As below link these are RS485 wire type they do have USB type which plugs into ther raspi3 etc.
