Hello everyone.
I ask the experts: the file shows the wiring diagram of the Laika Ecovip2.
In the front part of the engine hood there is both the 100ah bs and bm both lead acid that from alternator charging are connected with a paralleler. As for the 220 volt charging the socket is located at the rear and as per the diagram passes from a cbe transformer (not suitable for lithium) that connects to the old control unit that powers all the users [it enters with a faston with two positive cables (1 to signal the presence of the network not present in other battery chargers) and a negative] and through switches it can charge the two batteries as you can imagine with the output/input of the 4-wire faston of the battery control unit. At the moment this faston has been modified to insert on the black/red cables the output of a 100/30 victron mppt set to charge the lead bs with 400w panels. Is it possible to create a parallel lithium system that does not replace the current one? I would like to be as non-invasive as possible and leave the original system.
I had thought of using the AC output of the multiplus 3000 120/50 to connect the original battery charger that would continue to power the old control unit while the 12v output connected to the lynx distributor to the lithium bs of at least 200ah all positioned in the dinette. Mppt 100/30 would be connected to the lynx and from the alternator I would connect xs50 upstream of the lead bs so that the alternator first loads the bm then the lead bs connected to the paralleler and then orion dc dc that absorbs for the lithium bs. From lynx output for the loads and return to the control unit… but from the same faston with battery protect / argofet? to power the devices… and here I don’t understand anything anymore… who can help me?
