Widget not showing Load

The Latest Widgets on iOS does not show the load. I have the latest iOS App available in the App Store and I have the latest firmware for all components in my system.

Yours looks different than mine?

There was a bug like this on an older version of the VRM app and related widgets but it was fixed some time ago.

Thank you Nick. I have version 3.0.9 from the iOS APP Store. Is there a later version available?

That’s current.one behind the beta.
What devices are in your setup?
Can you try remove the widgets, then the app and reinstall it.
I know its a pain, just want to eliminate the obvious.

Here is what I have:

I have re-installed the VRM APP and re-created the Widget. It is still not showing the load.

Some Solar and Consumption forecast data also seems to be missing after 17:00 hours.

ok thanks. I will raise this with the team.

Why does the Widget predictions differ from the VRM App? Do I have a setting wrong?

The Widget refresh rate is lower. Receives updated data after a longer period of time. VRM is much more accurate. As in real time. Doing that with the same refresh interval for a widget, would slow your phone/tablet. I see something similar and have to select that widget to get more accurate data.

For me the same. I noticed also that on installation with Ecrano and VM Meter the Grid is labeled with “Gridmeter” but on this current installation where the load does not work it’s with raspi canhat and VM Meter with multiple devices on the Bus
But installation works as designed

Good morning, everyone!
The same goes for me, on Android.
I did a bit of debugging but then stopped for lack of time.
My setup consists of a Multi 5 kVA inverter, a 250/100 charge controller, a SmartShunt, and a Cerbo GX. After the inverter’s most recent firmware update (to version v556), the load indicator disappeared from the widget on my smartphone.
When I repeated the update procedure, I found that the inverter wasn’t being assigned its serial number like the other devices. I’ve attached a screenshot.

My VRM App shows everything as expected, but the Widget on iOS still does not show the load. It shows the Solar forecast, but NO load forecast.

It does not seem as if the load display will be coming back on the widget. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to view the load on a widget, or should I just abandon all widgets and open the VRM App everytime?

I just noticed that my iPhone widget has no load but Android is ok. I believe I’m using an oldish app but I don’t know how to check for the version. Both iPhone and Android should have the same version. I suspect iPhone widget showed load before. I have since updated my Cerbo to 3.62 and my iPhone to iOS 18.6. I don’t if any of that has anything to do with it.

You can go to the Apple APP Store and look for Victron VRM.

It will show you the latest version (3.0.15) and offer you to update if your version is older.

The latest update was 21 hours ago, but it did not fix the absence of Load display. It seems that it is gone forever on iPhones. It was there some time ago.

I have since confirmed I’m running version 3.0.0. I will upgrade if the issue is fixed.

IOS is a moving target, as are the changes on VRM. You need to be current with the app. Many issues have been fixed.
