Despite having had discussions before, no answer emerged. None of the many Widgets available show the LOAD. The VRM APP has been wiped, re-installed and widgets re-created numerous times. It does not show the LOAD in iOS at all, whether iOS 16 or iOS 26. All iOS versions are the latest, all APPs are the latest at the time of trying. iPhones range from 12 to 16, but none shows the LOAD for about the last year. Firmware of the CERBO is the latest. How can Victron be asked to attend to this issue ?
I have the same problem…. I find it incredible that Victron hasn't resolved this issue after almost a year.
I have the same issue on my android phone: DC-load and Solar is shown as well as State of Charge. But no AC load.
Do you guys also have “Position of AC loads“ = “AC output only“ at Settings => System Setup?
In my case, widgets started to work with “AC input & output“.
Thank you, win AC input ¬ output I can see AC load in the widget.!!!
I have loads at AC output only. Thank you for the observation. I shall try it, but I have no connection at the input side and do want the inverter to try and feed the non-connected loads.
It does show the load when the position of the load is set as input and output, as you showed. What happens to the system when the “input side” load is enabled but there are no loads connected? Would it not break some other functions?
Nothing. If you don’t have the required meter/CT and it isn’t configured to backfeed then you have little to be concerned about. Mine has been set this way forever and I have no loads in front of the system.
I do have an ET112 connected to measure GRID power on input 2 of a 10kVA Quattro. The generator is connected to input 1. Grid power is normally disconnected and is only connected when battery SOC is very low until it restores to an acceptable level. I have removed ESS, so the system runs very basically with Dynamic Current Limiter and Power Assist enabled (to help the generator when the load changes suddenly). The system is not allowed to feed back to the Grid (this is South Africa). I just want ot make sure sudden load changes will not harm the generator with the inverter trying to feed back to its input (non-essential loads). There is no ET112 on the Generator feed.
Yeah, me too.
During the grid outage, inventers do not power up the inputs in “Position of AC loads“ = “AC input & output“, but I’m not sure what impact it has on other systems.
I’ve submitted a ticket The load meter has not been shown in iOS widgets with “Position of AC loads“ = “AC output only“ setting · Issue #1602 · victronenergy/venus · GitHub hoping the Victron team will fix it, whatever option has been set
