Why is my GX 50 screen tinted blue?

Hello all.

I have a van installation with MultiPlus 12/120/2000, Lynx Smart BMS, Smart Lithiums, and Cerbo GX with GX 50 screen.

During a recent repair visit the lithiums were over discharged, so the system was offline for a couple of weeks. Once I brought it back I noticed that the GX screen has a blue tint (or more specifically, yellow is missing). Red things look purple and black menus and text are bright blue. See below for photos.

If I connect to the Remote Console the colors are correct, so this seems to be an issue with the display hardware.

I tried rebooting the GX a couple of times but it comes up looking the same. I also disconnected and reconnected the HDMI cable at the Cerbo with no success.

Any input would be much appreciated.

RGB. Green is missing…

Problem with the HDMI cable itself or the HDMI connector or even a hardware malfunction of either Cerbo or display.`

Ha well it can’t just be G is missing because if so the pure red in the Grid header would still be red. Also black is the lack of R, G, and B but black stuff is showing as blue.

But anyway I will try swapping the cable and checking the connection at the back of the GX 50.

You’re right… Can’t be just G.
Finger crossed to be an easy solution.

I’d try a power cycle of the display (unplug both its USB and HDMI connectors, then plug them back in). If that doesn’t fix it, the display is most likely bad.

Yeah I’d forgotten the connector on the back of the display is fixed.

I unplugged and reconnected the USB and HDMI cables — no joy.
