I have another question. Why can’t I decide what device to show and what to not show on the overview page.
For example I do not want to show my EVCS there because my Gerbo and LCD are in the extra room and being in that room this information is irrelevant in the screen. And I’m using my EV charger website to configure it.
Also I have “AC Charger” showing in both overview and brief, but 99% of the time I do not use is (it’s just for emergencys) and it is just taking room there.
And maybe then solar tile then has enough room to show me my AC solar and DC solar info inside the tile
AC charger is actually “smart shunt” that is configured as “AC charger” in Victron Connect.
The shunt is connected to battery after lynx shunt (so it is contributing to DC side of inverters).
Behind that shunt is Meanwell AC/DC 3kw powersupply. And I’m feeding that AC/DC from my 1 phase generator (there was no other way to use one phase generator with my three phase system) or from my EV V2L port (IONIQ 5).
So this is only for emergency when I need energy to my house battery when there is no grid.
Ideally, I’d like to be able to see a Victron 12-volt battery shunt for my secondary 12-volt system in addition to the default 48-volt battery system on the Overview and Brief pages. Ditto for three Ruuvi tags’ temperature readings. As it stands now, I can see all of them (main 48-volt CAN battery bank, secondary non-CAN 12-volt battery bank via Victron shunt, and the three Ruuvi tag readings) in the classic UI’s Device List screen. I’ll keep using that if I have to, but it would be nice to have similar functionality, displayed in a more visually appealing way, in the new UI. Thanks for considering this suggestion and for all of the work on the new UI - the faster performance, esp. with the remote console, is terrific.
Thanks so much for making the time to reply to me directly. I will give this a try the next time we are at our remote cabin where our Victron hardware is installed.
