Where is com port to connect ethernet cable on multiplus compact 12/1600? I have mk3-usb dongle but I don’t see any port on the victron ?
A MK3-USB is a VE.Bus to USB interface that connects on the VE.Bus port of the Multiplus Compact.
Thanks for replying. Where is VE.Bus port? I open the panel and see two ports on left side on circuit board. Which one is it ? Thanks
Now I see from your picture that they are only marked J17 and J302.
As the VE.Bus is a RS485 port, I suppose that the J17, which is below a Maxim interface IC is the correct one.

Nice ! thanks! Can I use a normal Ethernet cable or I need specific victron rj45 cable ?
Generally Victron is configuring its ports in that way that an user can use a standard straight-through (not cross-over) ethernet cable.

Hello again! I am seeing the device in the app now but I wanted to just change the setting to change ups feature and dynamic current limiter since I plan to use Honda eu22i generator to charge my battery but the app is saying I need a password to change setting in my device! I don’t see any password anywhere ? Do you know ?
