When I update my gx device in vrm portal, it shows if all devices are updating at one which is wrong.
See screenshot, I’m only updating the GX device (Multiplus-II, not the MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50).
Perhaps describe the steps to reproduce this, and add the bug-report tag to your post.

It might do this, as for the GX multi (master) it has sometimes an update for the inverter side firmware as well, not only the GX side firmware, so, it then might update automatically the non GX inverters (slave(s)) on the inverter side as well, this, as all inverters on the bus must have the same firmware for the inverter side.
More and more firmware updates are getting more easy and bomb proof, like PV inverter support assistant, with 2 (or more) inverters in parallel/2 or 3 phase only the master has to be programmed since a while, so, what you witnessed is probably just one of the many improvements made by the software engineers, nice you showed it, that’s why we love our blue boxes…
Btw, after the update, your system started up without a glitch, correct?

It doesn’t update the inverter, only the gx device for sure.
The update itself works fine
