VRM typing bug after opening gui-v2 on any site

I have been having this bug for quite sometime now (November 2024) and I would like to know if more people are having it so that we can let the VRM team know more people have it. @RicardoQ is aware of it but told me Victron can’t reproduce it.

Basically what happens is that after I open any remote console session to any of my sites that are using gui-v2, everything I type in VRM (search for an installation, add a user and so on) will will be deleted by the next letter I type. For example, if I want to type “ABC” after typing “A” when I type “B” the “A” is deleted and the text box only shows “B”, then when I type “C” the “B” is deleted and the text box only shows “C”. This can only be resolved with a page refresh.

I have only seen it happen on Windows in my case with Edge and in my colleague’s case with Chrome.

Keyboard mode is set to “overwrite” try hitting insert.

There should be a symbol in the lower right corner of your screen

I forgot to mentioned that. It’s only on the VRM website so it’s not that.

I sure its possible to manipulate that function in html, so it might be in the code from vrm.
