Hello everybody,

Happy to tell you about some recent changes that just went live on VRM.

• We have simplified the VRM dashboard, moving the ‘show details’ button to where the controls and switches buttons are.

• You can now make a team rather than you yourself the owner of an installation when you add the installation to VRM. This immediately shares access to the site with your colleagues.

• We gave the notifications preferences page new functionality, to easily enable or disable push notifications for all of your installations, some of your installations, or make the selection per installation group.

• On that same notifications preferences page, you can now enable push notifications for access requests to your installations, teams or groups.

• Remote console automatically opens in portrait mode when opened on a mobile device in VRM, making the remote console easier to read.

• Notifications for access requests now include the requester’s email address, to make it easier to validate if the request is a legitimate source.

• On the dashboard, the Grid and AC-load widgets now refresh after VE.Bus communication recovers, without the need to refresh the page.

That is a lot, so we hope that the summer holidays allow you for some time to play around with these new additions. As always, we are open for suggestions and feedback!

And the problem raised below is still present…

VRM calculates invalid timespan

Same here on some situation… Somehow the system “rounds up or down” the start time, making it miss even an entire hour… Example: Set “Last 6 hours” - it says “Last 6 hours” Now press the “before” button, the one with “<” in front of the time interval. It shows only the previous 5 hours, not 6 hours… The same with 12 hours or 3, etc. Not to mention that the start of the interval is rounded. Initial [1] Previous 2 hours and 5 minutes… NOT 3 hours. It should be from 18:05, not from 19:00 …

Portrait mode does not work for the console on the Android app - Smartphone Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The portrait mode currently require the BETA version of Venus OS. Soon, the stable 3.80 version will released, which will also include the portrait mode.

Please help to fix the Czech translation of ‘Time to go’. ‘Čas odejít’ is nonsense. The word used in the remote console is much better and should be used.

With the adjustment where V, A and W for each scc used to be on one line it now takes two. But I guess can’t be helped if you want to avoid cutting off the W. On an s24 ultra.

Correct, we think putting all values on 1 line and the tracker above it makes it easier to interpret, although I understand that it takes some getting used to.

Some very thoughtful additions and changes.

@barbara I have a very tiny VRM UX improvement request. Not a bug.

On this graph, two proposed changes:

1. Please add a “%” sign after Battery to prevent confusion - I thought the 12V battery was at 17.5V (!), but my mistake - it is nearly 100% State of Charge.
2. Switch the order of the legend, so that the item at the left corresponds to the vertical axis at the left, and rightmost with the axis at right. e.g. put Battery Voltage (System) then Battery %

This happens when my brain is not working yet.

Hello developers…

No one has seen this? It’s there for ages…
It’s not a layout issue, it’s a functionality issue…
I’ve exemplified below for 3 hours interval, but it’s the same for 6 and 12 hours.
The 16 minutes interval becomes bigger or smaller, depending where you are in that hour.
It rounds up to the beginning of the hour and therefore, an entire interval is not plotted.
Up to an entire hour can be missed, depending how close you are from the beginning of the hour !!
Both on Android and Windows, probably on Mac too, so it’s on your side…

Below, because I’ve plotted it from the tenth minute of the hour, 50 minutes are missing from plot and only 2h and 10 minutes shown…

@Barbara In addition to the incorrect translation of ‘Time to go’, there is another problem:

Bad Czech translation of Momentary Virtual switch caption

The Czech caption on the Momentary Virtual Switch is wrong: it shows “Tisk” = “Print” instead of “Stisk” = “Press”. Beyond fixing the translation, please consider making the caption user-editable so it can reflect the button’s actual function (Open, Close, Start, Stop, …). Thanks. [image]
