I am excited to share with you two new features on VRM, just rolled out to the live environment.
- On the VRM watch app, we have added new complications for today’s consumption, solar, to grid or from grid totals, for you to see how your installation did today from a glance on your wrist.
Thanks @Barbara! I’m a user of the watch complication on my Apple Watch Ultra. It’s quite useful.
Please see the bottom left. Notice the 3 other complications have a combination of white text and gray accents (given my theme is gray), while the VRM one is all gray and the number is pretty small. Is there a way to modify this so its easier to read / glance?

Thanks for this new update,
As VRM is getting more and more advanced, is there a way for installers to get the excisting VRM, and for our customers to have a clean easier look than it is now.
Or am I just the only one who is looking it this way?
I know that installers have more functions than other users can have, but it is just that the look for customers can be overwhelming. I also know that the recent update from the Victron connect app did quite a good job, but in this app there are to many settings, and to less information in my opinion.
How are you looking to this?

Great! I just checked for any iOS app updates and the last one was 6 days ago. Is it in the beta? EDIT: I just installed the beta but am seeing the old complication, so I’m guessing it’s still yet to be released.
This fault has not been resolved.
What browser are you using? I don’t have this issue. Does it happen on all your devices from which you can access VRM?
I have seen that for ages on safari.

Also, the VRM app in Chrome is something automatically made by Chrome, not officially supported, so if you want to use VRM you can best download it on your desktop from the Apple or Play store.
Hi @Barbara - I just updated to the latest beta of the VRM app (build 3.0.43 (613) released Jul 28, 2026) and I’m oddly not seeing the updated battery SOC widget on the watch…one change I can see is there are no longer decimal points being shown, but the general design is the same. Should I be patient? 
That is quite odd. You do see the battery forecast in the VRM app?
One thing I could think of is to delete the widget and add it again, if you haven’t already, to see if that fixes things.
Hi @Barbara - thanks for the reply! Just to make sure we’re talking about the same thing, the bottom left widget is what I’m referring to. Should that be the one which was redesigned? I tried re-installing the app on the watch.
Yes, it should now be a gauge with the number in the middle. Let me check why you would not see it. This is an apple watch right?
@Barbara Yes - Apple Watch Ultra. It’s possible it looks this way because I’m using a round watch face?
I tested a more modular watch face and it looks as you describe (below).
However, there are many watch faces on the Apple Watch which use the round watch design so it’d be awesome if that complication got a facelift too
The one I showed above is the factory default watch face on the Ultra.
A-ha, I expected it to automatically adjust it for all. We will fix it
Thanks!! It would be cool if the design took advantage of the round watch face (like the others ones do). Maybe the progress bar / circle can instead be a bar that wraps the edge of the watch face (like the top left complication in my screenshot). Anyway, I’m sure you have much better people thinking about this than myself
