Today we released some nice new features in VRM. Let me shortly explain what we added:

  • Users with 10+ installations now land on a simple homepage after login. This page loads really fast even on slow networks, allowing installers to quickly navigate to where they need to be in VRM.

  • After a GX device is replaced with another one, we reboot the old GX and clear its data
  • We group alarm rules by device type, so it easier to find an alarm rule

  • We allow for setting only a high or only a low threshold when setting an alarm rule, so you are not forced to set both
  • The widgets selection on the advanced page now shows as a modal.

  • We implemented a fix for some advanced graphs showing in UTC instead of the local time

Hopefully these features make VRM even nicer for you to work with.

Barbara,

I like the alarm groupings and only high or low inputs.

One issue I have found is if one alarm is deleted from a group (say 1 tank from 5) the whole group is lost from view and the page needs refreshing for the remaining items in the view to get shown again, this occurs on all devices, Amazon Fire tablet, Android phone and Windows PC.

Hi,
Why a built in (default) widget like VE.Bus state, with very rare changing events, displays, by default, like this and only if you press the center button it displays the info?..

Hi @alexpescaru,

This was a measure we temporarily put in place last week to save on load. It is now disabled and all widgets load automatically again.

Be great if you could add the widgets for the energy solutions smart switch dc4 along with the new relay addition.

Hi @pwfarnell, thank you for flagging that bug. I couldn’t reproduce it for other devices, but for tanks this seems to be the case indeed.

I’ll get back to you when we have a fix!

Hello,

I would like to report VRM Android widget bug

Before had widget with battery SOC in circle and below was chart

Now when make widget smaller can see the SOC in circle but no chart below but after make it bigger there is only one line with status OK no chart and no SOC

Barbara, I also saw it on temperatures but not on VE Bus or Battery monitor groups.

Hey @pwfarnell ,

A fix for the bug you mentioned is now in Beta VRM, you can verify there that your problem is solved.

Today or tomorrow the fix will make its way to production.
