We’ve updated the layout for installations that have energy meters, solar inverters, and/or EV charging stations, but don’t have any other inverters or chargers.
The goal of this change is to make it easier for installers to see the energy need of an installation before deciding on the right setup.
Not sure where to suggest this. In the Advanced page, of you want to choose a custom date/time range ot appears that as soon as you enter one new date or time, VRM is loading the widgets. If you are on a slow internet connection (out and about on the boat) and want to change both dates and both times the constant reloading makes this very slow. Ideally if one of the boxes is altered, the reloading should be stopped and an “Update” button appears (or changes from greyed out to blue) so you can enter your new dates and times quickly, then press Update.
Barbara, it would be nice if Victron posted something to let users know that the team are aware of the widget problem - I searched for information and found nothing until I browsed to this thread by chance - lucky for me that SacRV had mentioned widgets so I was able to find this thread while searching for widget faults.
You are right that communication about this could’ve been more transparent. At the same time, community is really for the community, and besides system-wide downtime on VRM, we try to keep it limited in notifications.
