I’ve encountered issue on both the VRM Portal and the Remote Console Overview.
Description of the issue:
The consumption data displayed in both places appears to be incorrect. It looks as though the system is only showing (and possibly counting) two phases from a three-phase external meter setup.
My configuration is as follows:
-
AC-in meter (VM-3P75CT) — configured as Grid role, position: AC Input
-
AC-out meter (CG EM5XX) — configured as AC-load role, position: AC Output
-
MultiPlus-II #1 — AC-OUT-2 connected via L1 on CG EM5XX meter, and AC-OUT-1 connected via L3 on the same CG EM5XX meter
-
MultiPlus-II #2 — AC-OUT-2 connected via L2 on the same CG EM5XX meter
This setup effectively uses L1 and L2 for normal AC Loads, and L3 for Essential Loads.
At the moment, I can only see L1 and L2 readings in all Victron visualizations — L3 values are missing in any visualizations.
Additional Information:
This may be related to my setup being a two-phase system, but I’m not certain. Additionally, the system occasionally (about every 3 seconds) shows random changes in AC Load readings, which might be a separate issue.
It also entirely possible that the data displayed (L1 & L2 ) are from the inverters internal reader instead of AC out meter but I’m not sure how to check or change that configuration.
Expected behaviour:
I’d expect all three phases (L1, L2, and L3) to be displayed correctly, since consumption occurs on all of them simultaneously.
Without L3, both the total and phase-specific data shown in VRM and on the physical meter differ noticeably.
I’ve also noticed that the external meter appears under Essential Loads instead of AC Loads, though this is a minor concern compared to the missing L3 data.
