As many people are back at work and checking last year’s data for their installations, our database is a bit slower than you’d expect. This might resolve in longer loading times. Please don’t start refreshing VRM when you experience waiting times; this will worsen the situation.
We hope to be back performing as usual in an hour.
To prevent the load from making VRM go down, we have paused forecasting and dynamic ess schedule generation for now. We will enable them again once the database load decreases.
I have noticed there have been significant changes to the DESS forecast scheduling implemented on or around new year. Strangely enough though I cannot find any announcements thereof. Could you please provide a changelog (or a link) for what has been done? One change that’s quite noticeable is the rolling extended pricing forecast set to the last known price. That’s a major change (that I happened to suggest early last year) I would expect some coordinated community feedback/involvement with.
I prefer not to give Victron access to our systems, sorry (x). What I can say is that the change coincided with updating the Tibber pricing scheme midday January 1st.
(x) Feel free to DM me for further information.
