Hello,
I am experiencing a strange issue with the VRM Dashboard and would like to know if anyone has seen this before.
System configuration:
-
Venus OS running on Raspberry Pi (V3.55)
-
2 × MultiPlus-II 48/3000 as split phase
-
EM540 grid meter
-
AC-coupled PV via openDTU
-
LiFePO battery with
-
JK BMS connected via dbus-serialbattery
Problem description:
About one week ago, the date/time (or timezone) on my Venus OS system was incorrect for some time. I cannot remember exactly how it happened, but the issue has since been corrected and the system clock is now accurate.
Since then, the VRM Dashboard has shown incorrect data for short-term views:
-
Live values are displayed correctly.
-
The “Advanced” / “Analysis” pages show all data correctly.
-
Monthly and older historical views are correct.
-
Only the Dashboard views for the most recent days are affected.
Observed behavior:
-
“Today” shows an incorrect X-axis. It includes the complete previous day plus the current day up to the present time.
-
“Yesterday” shows a correct X-axis (00:00–23:59), but consumption and PV production bars stop around 09:30. No bars are displayed for the remainder of the day.
-
“Day before yesterday” and all older days are displayed correctly.
Because the raw data is fully available in the Analysis section, I suspect that the issue is related to VRM’s short-term dashboard aggregation/cache rather than missing data from the GX device.
I attached some screenshots showing today, yesterday and day-before-yesterday.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue after a temporary system time/date error?
Could a dashboard cache or aggregation dataset on the VRM side have become corrupted, and is there any way to force a rebuild?
Thanks in advance.
