VRM connection issue new Cerbo GX

I have a quick question this issue has been driving me crazy. do you suggest I only change the gateway to 0.0.0.0 ? what do I out in IP address and subnet mask to connect cerbo to raymarine? it used to work flawlessly on ethernet connection on local network switch while connected to internet with both wifi 5g router and victron LTE/GPS module now when I turn on raymarine and even when I turn it off the connection to internet and VRM is lost. thanks
