Hi team - in browsing the VRM API docs I noticed a setting called “isDessSocDifferent”. Does this actually work? I would like to add a 5% buffer between the ESS min SOC and DESS min SOC. Our system is quite large (4x 10k Quattros) so the scheduler often underestimates consumption given it ignores the 400-500W draw of the Quattros themselves (causing unintended consumption from grid during peak hours, when the battery is near min SOC)
Gotta love the hunt for the undocumented SoC treasures to find such a thing. Curious to see where this goes.
Today a lower buffer would have helped. PV came in lower than forecasted so the system will hit min SOC before the peak period ends. So we’re now briefly consuming from grid. My min SOC is set to 25% but would be fine if it went down to 20% in situations like these. The battery bank is quite large so it’ll now sit near min SOC until the next balancing (and this issue will probably reappear tomorrow given we’re now approaching winter).
