DESS always aims for the minimum SoC

I’m wondering, why does DESS try to aim for my minimum SoC (30%)?
I see this every day, it charges just enough to end up at 30% at the end of the day. As a result I have no buffer left to use extra energy in the expensive hours,. And it underestimates my usage often. So it’s quite a waste of money to use the heating (airco) in the evening.

Is there some setting I need to do to tell it to, for example, charge as much as possible in the cheap hours, or at least have some buffer?

Or is the only way to hack something in node-red?

Cerbo on venus 3.70~49, multi-rs 6000, 15 kWh battery, battery costs are set to 0.

Coincidentally I started a similar thread. Hope to bring more attention to this as well.
