VM3P75CT Meter Questions

Hi,

I’m installing a VM-3P75CT meter in an ESS installation to read my grid input and had a few questions.

It is rated for 75A. Is that total, or per CT?
The service it’s reading is max 100A. I rarely pass 60A.
If the 75A rating is for each CT I’m good for sure.
If it’s total, there’s a small chance it could be exceeded on occasion.

What would happen if the current were exceeded? would it just read the max value for a while, become damaged, quit reporting anything until current goes back down, something else?

I plan to connect it via network cable. The network equipment is on a UPS so it shouldn’t fail, but if it were to disconnect, what happens to the inverter it’s talking to? Does it stop working or just not send power back out the AC in connection?

Thanks!

Edit to fix pasted formatting

I run a negative grid setpoint of -100. What I found was I lost communication and the power reading would be 0 and the multiplus would go full noise trying to get it -100 but nothing would change there is no feedback on what is exporting. I have to put this node red flow in to check for 0 power on the 2 phases and if both are 0 disable export. If you can connect with ve.can. Hope that helps.

And its 75A per a phase.
