VM-3P75CT connected to VE.Can, measuring 1Ph Genset

Edit II:
It loses functionality if I alter the device’s name in VictronConnect → VRM-> “Product Info” (which does not matter if the connection method is Ethernet).
It also disappears if I change the device’s purpose from Grid to Generator. It does, however, work fine as a PV inverter, except there is no AC frequency data in that mode for some reason.

Edit: after resetting the meter to it’s factory defaults, it was re-discovered and showing on VRM portal’s device list.

is not shown on VRM Portal’s device list (hence, no way to combine it’s data with custom widgets), but does show correctly on Remote Console’s device list as well as in Victron Connect’s mobile app, VRM tab.
a separate VM-3P75CT device, measuring 3Ph Grid and connected to Ethernet, is always shown as it should.
Is there any intentional difference in functionality between the two methods of data connection? if not, then what should I try in order to troubleshoot? (there is no wired network around the area of the monitor and the Cerbo-GX, which uses WI-FI for that reason).
