Victron Temp sensor

Hi all, I have a victron temp sensor wired into the Cerbo GX and it is working (giving correct temp) but I can’t seem to set up an alarm for it. I just want a simple high temp alarm on the cerbox. I have tried through the VRM and set the parameters but it does not alarm and this seems to be an email or phone soft alarm even if it did work. Have read the manual but not much luck. If I go into the temp sensor on the Cerbo touch screen alarms is not one of the options. Thanks.

Update, I have just received an email from the VRM notifying me of the sensor being in alarm, but this is many minutes after I set it and I wont have internet access. The sensor is on my engines exhaust cooler…

If you go down to relay you can set the relay to turn on at a certain temp. This can be used for an audible alarm but will be some hardware controlled by the state of the relay.

Ok thanks. So do you think this is the only practical way to achieve what I am trying to?

Yeah relay 1 or 2 will work with a temp alarm. You will still get the notification as well.
